TREGOLE 2022 RISERVA CHIANTI CLASSICO

“The 2022 Chianti Classico Riserva is wonderfully deep and resonant from the very first taste. Dark cherry, plum, new leather, incense, liquorice and mocha caress the palate. The 2022 offers notable depth and exceptional balance. This generous Riserva has so much to offer.” – Antonio Galloni, VINOUS MEDIA

“The Tregole estate was a historic Estruscan watchtower at the highpoint of three valleys. It sits on the northern border of Castellina overlooking Radda at altitudes of 500 to 580 meters — extremely high for the region, with the highest vineyard in the Chianti Classico region reaching 695 meters.

“Proprietor and winemaker Sophie Conte runs the small family property. A first generation winemaker, Sophie was not interested in wine until 15 years ago when she fell in love with Sangiovese. Sophie’s parents purchased the historic Tregole estate as a vacation home in 1998 and leased the vineyards to neighboring producers for years until 2015 when Sophie decided to found Tregole and begin her journey as winemaker of the property.” – BENVENUSA, Importer
