The KWV 1948 Limited Release Port
The KWV 1948 Limited Release Port is a rare and beautifully aged South African fortified wine, styled as a Cape Tawny. Bottled before SAWIS certification and mandatory ABV labelling, it reflects a bygone era of artisanal winemaking. This deep amber wine reveals rich notes of caramelised sugar, roasted hazelnuts, and sun-dried raisins. A long, silken finish lingers, offering warmth and complexity shaped by over seven decades of maturation.
