Sudosan Winery Krate Plum 375ML
A Korean plum liqueur from the winery better known for turning wild mountain grapes into a dead-ringer for Amarone. Sudosan built its reputation in Gimcheon, Gyeongsangbuk-do, on the volcanic-soil, minimal-intervention outlook behind its flagship Krate wine made from wild sanmeoru grapes (Vitis amurensis) using an Amarone-style dried-fruit method. Krate Plum applies that same house philosophy to Korean plums instead of grapes: refreshing rather than heavy, with real fruit character and none of the syrupy sweetness that plum liqueurs can lean into.
Good served lightly chilled, on its own as an aperitif, or alongside Korean food where a touch of natural sweetness and acidity is welcome.
Note: no cuvee-specific technical sheet is published for Krate Plum, so treat the profile above as informed by the estate’s known style rather than a confirmed spec for this exact bottling.
