RAVENTOS I BLANC2023 NIT ROSADO BRUT

DECANTER 95 POINTS – ” Mandarin, vanilla and blood orange. Fresh, vibrant palate: citrus, bitter melon. Acidity provides balance and poise. A lick of tannin supports the creamy texture. Very long. Sarah Jane Evans MW: Subtle, restrained, perfumed. Lightly grippy with a savoury pastry note; lacks the usual sweet fruit. Stylish, gastronomic. Blossoms in the glass. Delicious. Valentin Radosav: Elegant strawberry and red flower aromas. Balanced fruit profile and refreshing acidity.”

A Sparkling wine from Catalunya, Spain. Made from Macabeo. Beautiful red fruit notes such as strawberries and raspberries. Delicious with or without food.

WINE ADVOCATE 92 POINTS – “44% Xarel.lo, 39% Macabeo, 12% Parellada and 5% Monastrell, which is closer to a white. It has energy, good ripeness and some natural concentration from the vintage, with weight and clout keeping the balance and freshness, and some very small bubbles after no less than 18 months in bottle with lees. All the wines are very expressive; they have bubbles that provide texture and lift the wine up. This is serious, dry but adjusted to different levels depending on the year, a bit more complex than the Blanc de Blancs. They produce a fair amount of this: 200,000 bottles and some other larger and smaller formats.”
