Ontake 4 Years 2021 Single Cask 417 Sherry Butt is a small-batch Japanese whisky matured in a sherry butt cask to develop concentrated richness and depth. The Ontake Distillery is part of the modern wave of Japanese whisky producers focused on cask experimentation and artisanal releases. On the nose, it displays dried fruit, cocoa, roasted nuts, and dark caramel. The palate is intense and full-bodied with raisin sweetness, spice, oak tannin, and chocolate notes, finishing long and warming.
