Merlot (Australia)

Jacob’s Creek Classic Merlot is a purple hued wine cut through by garnet tinges. The lifted nose gives off vibrant scents of plum and spice with an attractive oak influence in the backdrop. The medium-weighted and complex palate is rife with rich red fruit flavours and nuances of toasty oak. Delicate and velvety tannins coupled with a fleshy mid-palate lead to a climax that is fresh and fruity. This juicy and elegant Merlot is a perfect match to foods like creamy pasta and semi-hard cheese. – Jacob’s Creek
