Done in the Champagne method, this bubbly is made from young-vine Nebbiolo grown in the family’s Barolo holdings of Cerreta, Pra Po, Pradone and Lazzarito. Picked early and left on the skins for just a short time to extract just a bit of color and avoid Nebbiolo’s pronounced tannins.
WINERY NOTES: “The wine shows a pale yet bright pink color, enlivened by a fine perlage. On the nose, fresh fruit aromas and red and white floral notes emerge, complemented by a subtle yeasty nuance that adds depth. On the palate, the entry is full and dynamic, with long and persistent freshness supported by a light tannic note that lends austerity and balance.”
