El Mandatario Blanco Tequila, “the commander,” is the unaged foundation of the El Mandatario range, a 100% agave tequila from Jalisco presented in the brand’s stately, presidential-styled bottle. Crystalline in the glass, it is all about the agave.
The aroma is cooked agave, smooth and sweet, and the taste follows with cooked agave, citric and herbal notes on a clean finish. It is a refined blanco for sipping chilled and an excellent base for margaritas, Palomas and tequila sodas. Pair it with the El Mandatario Reposado, Añejo and Extra Añejo for a complete flight that shows how oak transforms the same agave.
