Caparsa is a small family-run winery in the Radda area of Chianti Classico, where Sangiovese has a mid-weight, lightly structured style driven by its vibrancy. The Rosso di Caparsa is their everyday bottling, labeled without a vintage since some releases come from a blend of harvests that are aging in the cellar (1-3 years). Savory-toned, with a soft structure and light body, it’s perfect for casual sipping with cheeses and cured meats, Neapolitan-style pizzas, and a range of savory appetizers. This is minimal intervention winemaking, with a respect for their land and its produce…honestly made and delicious to have with a variety of everday meals! This bottling is only fermented and aged in cement, “preserving the aromas and simplicity of wines of the past.”
