94 points Whiksey Advocate 6 Whiskey of 2024
Bookers got the year off to a grand start with this first batch of 2024, named for Booker Noes hometown in Kentucky. The whiskey is comprised of four parcels from Beams Clermont warehouses, averaging 7 years and 7 months in age. In classic Bookers fashion, its a big one with plenty of heat, but the flavors burst through the proof to offer nougat, vanilla, warm chocolate, and sweet orange, balanced by dried herbs, oak, and tobacco, leading to an explosive finish. While the Bookers releases always excel, this one emerged as a Top 20 favorite, packing in loads of pleasure. David Fleming
