2002 Koonowla Cabernet Sauvignon

The first wines were produced at Koonowla in the late 1800’s.Wine maker Andrew Hardy has produced a very deep crimson coloured wine with deep crimson brick red hue.Aroma of spice followed by a hint of tea leaf, blackcurrant and cedar.Flavours of stewed fruit and plum are evident on the palate with a hint of chocolate.Fine dry, slightly chalky tannins.Aftertaste of stewed fruit and spice.
